As a child my family moved back and forth between Texas and the West Coast. I was primarily raised by my grandparents who were loving, kind and invested into their communities. Instilling an early passion for my community.
I Graduated from Weatherford High School. Where I had met my husband and shortly after discovered that I was going to be a mom! I started attending every birth, parenting, breastfeeding class that I could. I devoured books and documentaries on the topic of labor and birth. I fell in love with the knowledge, with the process, and with the amazing women on these journeys. At Grace house in Weatherford I met Miss. Sandra. A Doula and Midwife from Wisconsin. She was enthralled with my passion and let me tag along as a doula in training.
My first baby became my first angel baby at my 21st week of pregnancy. After my loss, I was acutely aware of all the ways pregnancy and birth could be traumatic. I suffered from postpartum depression and had to take a step back in the birthing world.
I knew I wanted to assist moms and children so I attended Weatherford College to get my Bachelors in Early Childhood Development & Education followed by an Associates degree in Business. We welcomed our first child in 2007, our daughter Azariah. Followed by brothers Rian & Riley in 2009 and baby brother Haden (the jokester of the family) in 2011.
After Being a single mother for 5 years the children and myself found the perfect guy. In March 2020 he officially joined our family.
After 12 years of assisting women through the stages of birth unofficially. I became a Certified Doula with Birth Boot Camp August 2020. Wanting to assist families in my area with even more opportunities, I became a Childbirth Educator and Instructor with Birth Boot Camp in September of 2020. I am continuing my studies in the birth world so that I may provide more options and Empower more women with their perfect birth experience, as individual as they are.
